Why this site exists
Search for a day trip out of Guadalajara and you get listicles. Twenty destinations, no fares, no opening days, and a Guachimontones entry price of 30 pesos that INAH stopped charging in January 2026 — the same listicles do not mention that the zone is now shut Monday to Wednesday, which is the fact most likely to ruin an actual day.
None of this is hidden. It is on the INAH zone page, on Mundo Cuervo's own booking page, in the Tequila Plus timetable and in the operators' small print. Putting those numbers next to the tour prices is the whole job here.
Where the facts come from
Tour prices, durations, ratings, review counts, inclusions, meeting points and age limits are read off each operator's own GetYourGuide listing on the date shown, in US dollars. Every tour page carries the same fields in the same order. Tour listings checked: September 2026.
Entry fees and opening days come from the institution that sets them — INAH for the archaeological zone, Mundo Cuervo for La Rojena and the Jose Cuervo Express, the bus lines for their own fares and timetables — and are dated where they appear. Traveller feedback reviewed: more than 1,190 verified reviews.
Where an operator states something inconvenient in its own words, such as a nine-hour day that ends with a two-hour drive home, we repeat it rather than smooth it over. Review excerpts carry the traveller's first name, the platform and the month exactly as published, and run to no more than a couple of sentences.
What we are not
Not a tour operator, not a travel agency, not a seller of travel, and not the official site of any operator, of Mundo Cuervo or of the Guachimontones archaeological zone. Nobody here has an office in Jalisco and no page on this site claims someone stood at a ticket window this morning.
What we do claim is that every figure was read from the source named beside it, on the date named beside it, and that when one moves we change it. If something here has gone stale, tell us.
